Weight Varying Wildly

    Each time I press "Validate/Calculate Weight Now" my weight is jumping from 312, to 1,561 to 1,755, to 8,778.

    Is this because it uses a different Google DC each time, or is there another reason?

    Maybe you have secondary websites (consolidation weight) or referrer weight.

    Nope I have neither.

    Also, I am talking about pressing the update button in succession and it changing wildly like that.

    I think this is a problem on Google's end, not DP's. I think I have read Shawn say this before...

    This is probably a datacenter issue. Go here:

    http://www.webrankinfo.com/english/tools/google-data-centers.php

    And search for site:your URL

    If it comes up with different results, it's because the co/op is reach different datacenters each time you query it and they have different numbers of pages indexed. This is happening a lot now because of the "Big Daddy" rollout - Google is switching over to a new infrastructure and some datacenters use it now, some don't. Big Daddy generally has many more pages indexed so you get more weight when you pull up one of those datacenters.
