Weight not showing up

This morning I checked in on my account and everything was fine. Tonight I checked in and the sites were validated again, but the weight didn't caculate. Is this normal? Should I check in often to make sure the weight is still there? It did it to 4 of my site accounts. It was like 30K+ in weight.

This COULD be because you have used the 1000 max queries on your API key. That happened to me.

If that is the case you either need to get a new key or wait until the Google day is over.

How many queries does it use to validate a site? And I validated them on my own and the weight showed up.

I don't know the answer to that.

But if you share the key across this and they keyword tracker tool (which is what I did originally) and you check the keyword tracker tool a lot then that will quickly eat away at that 1000 limit.

It may be another reason, I am just speculating as I had the same problem and it was caused by the API key not working due to the limit being reached.

My 0 isn't going away. I have a fairly new website, and I was under the impression that this ad network would substantially help newer websites.

If I have weight of 0, are my ads showing at all or am I just showing other people's ads with no benefit to my website?

I have low traffic right now, but I do have ads on all of my pages which is about 30 pages at the moment.

Can anyone help me understand this ad network?

Yesterday, the Google API was periodically showing '0 pages' for my sites. I assume this was happening all over, and if the server happened to validate your site at that time, you would get a 0 weight.

    mmh3-
I'm pretty sure your ad won't be shown with a 0 weight. At minimum you need to get some pages indexed by Google.

I take it from this question that the number of pages indexed by google affects the weight of a site in the co-op, correct?

I'm also new to the co-op and just haven't had the time to read through the many different threads in the forum. I have read the co-op FAQ but there are many things that I still don't understand. Is there any "Quick Start Guide" that might have the answers to more FAQ than the existing FAQ page does?

    Thanks

The way validation works is that the co-op will pick a random page that google knows about using the site:www.domain.com command. If it picks a page and no ads are on said page, you will get the error message saying it hasn't found the ads on the page.

The weight of a site is effected by PR and the amount of pages in google, as well as the amount of ads you have displayed (1-5). Your weight cap is primarily defined by your PR. For each number of PR (1-10) there's a threshhold defined for your base weight. You can add to that weight by referring users to the co-op, but your base weight is stuck based on your PR. And there's no "official" documentation about the amount of weight each PR receives.
