Weight is 0 (I know, I know, everybody is asking)

I found the old faq, new faq, unofficial faq, people posting on here, yet i still do not know how to get weight! I have a google API key, I am not sure if my site is indexed or even how to get it indexed (probably my problem). My .txt file from here on my server is writeable and there are many ads in it, ads are working on my site, my site validates. weight is 0. http://www.tallyme.com is the site URL. I am sure visitors from here will be some of my first REAL hits. I need traffic!

The site isn't in Google (yet) hence no weight, try getting more inbound links to the site, here's one to get you started http://www.tallyme.com

 

Thanks! I assume that when google crawls through other sites, it will see the links and begin indexing mine too. That would make sense.

 

Ok, my site is on google now. (when i do a search for tallyme.com, I get my site as a directly linked result). Weight is still 0. What's the next step??? Thanks


This error sux. I tried to post a link:
Live links and signatures are not available until you have 10 total posts.

 

It is not an error.. It is a safeguard. Certainly 10 posts is not unreasonable. You can post a non-live link. Most of us are fully capable of cut-and-paste.

 

Wait until you have pages indexed (as reported via the API).

My site is similar.

I have a PR3, 20 backlinks in google, have the ads on multiple pages on my site, but my weight remains at 0 and no activity in stats.

Any suggestions?
