The weight on one of my sites was 80,000+ until yesterday.
Suddenly today it has dropped to zero.
    What could have caused this?

Have you checked your SERPs in Google? Are you still indexed? If you have a new site you frequently yoyo in and out of index for period of time.

There have been posts today about seeing Pre-superbowl rresults in Google.

The site is a PR6 with 35,300 pages on G and 607 links.

It is interesting that the stats returned in DP's keyword ranking tool are nowhere near what I get when I query G directly....
According to DP: pages = 16,600 and links = 452.

Come to think of it: the stats on DP have never changed since day one.

The backlinks, pages in url, and pagerank only updates when there is a backlink update in Google.

Your number of posts made me wonder if site was new. Next question is are you currently validated?

    Yes, the site is validated.
No, nothing has changed since yesterday.
Looks like a technical problem somewhere to me...

Sorry to say I do not know what the problem is. Hope someone else will come to your aid that can offer suggestions I am unable to make.

One last thought. Supplemental results in Google do not count, I believe. Pages must be cached.

    Good luck.
