weight goes to zero a couple times a day

about once a day I log in to the coop , and everytime pretty much one or 2 of sites has 0 weight.

I revalidate and it pretty much always comes back,

I personally think its wack when people come up wiht suggestions for the coop, like the owner want to spend all day programming stuff for people

But is there anyway I could get a notification when it goes 0,

or does it revalidate often enough to where I really should just not sweat it

Check your email addresses in your coop panel. An email is always sent when
    ads don't validate.

"An email is always sent when ads don't validate."

Yeah, but when it validates but gives you a zero weight, there is no email.

I agree with you, it would be nice if the validator would:

    a) send an email, or
    b) if the script gets 0 pages from the API, try 2-3 more times . (This is what I'm going to do when I log on and see a zero weight anyway, so it might as well do it for me.)

The e-mails are only sent when ads are not found.. and the zero is in red font. What ferret is talking about is just a clean drop to zero.. ie. still validated but with zero weight. E-mails are not sent when this happens.

The solution is to like just have a quick check in your master account once day and manually revalidate the accounts that drop to zero. Since the ads will remain in rotation for a few hours at least after weight drops to zero, it's not a major concern IMO.

Edit: Sorry, Crew just gave the same reply before me.

i've had a similar problem recently, for seemingly no reason my weight will drop from 50k+ to 0...no matter how many times i validate. come back 10 or so minutes later and re-validate, and things are back to normal. not sure what's up w/ that, all obvious reasons have been checked, and site performs very well in all SERPS.

Accidentally posted to an old topic - didn't see this one. Same problem here. Ads validate, but zero weight. Manually revalidate a few times and weight comes back. D'oh!

I have had the problems as well. It is a big concern when the Google API for that moment returns a low number of pages or PR, and therefore the weight drops big time.

I have had weight drop say from 67500 to 10000 or zero. This is due to api issues, not that a page has been found with no links.

Shawn - PLEASE - auto revalidate if people have the Google API. How about store the last weight and if the weight lower, then revalidate twice to try and get higher, then email if weight dropped - in general people are adding pages, not deleting pages, and hopefully over time peoples PR increasing, therefore there should not be actual drops too often.

Thirded! Even just an auto email if weight drops to zero, though the autorevalidate for API key users would be preferable.

Add me to the list. I need to log in every day several times to check if my weight didn't drop to 0.

Bad thing is that I have several referals showing 0 weight and I don't know how to contact them so they can revalidate and fix it.
