Weight dropped to 0, but it was fine with the previous validation. It will not re-validate saying "Ads not found on http://www.motorolatalkabout.com/radiosplus/videoconf.html" . But, there has never been this page on our site. All other live pages have networks ads on them. Note: It is possible that this was an ratehr old page in our site, because we completely rebuild the site for updates (with URL address changes) but all current live pages have network ads. Any help?
Suggest you go a Google search for their page to request that that URL be removed from their index. Shannon
I revalitated about 5 times, and it worked this time. So, nevermind, unless you can tell me how to avoid it in the future.
1a) Request Google to delete the page form their index. (There's a URL to submit a remove request.) or 1b) Put the page back up and 301 it to the homepage. Or via htaccess. 2) Tell GBot in the robots file to never go there again. This way it will be sorted hopefully soon so it won't happen again. 301 or excluding is imprtant since there are likely to be old links to that page coming from somewhere and G seems to keep those pages for as long as the links exist.
I had the same problem valdating my cellphone-reviews.net site. It said I had an old script still present in my cgi-bin. I went to the FTP and deleted the files. Went back to the co op control panel and kept clicking the "validate now" link, and after about 5 tries it validated. So you have to make sure you don't have any orphan files hanging around too.
