Weight drop after update

    Hello,

my site http://shop-to-buy.net/ has dropped to 15 weight and I don't understand why.

The API still reports 0 pages indexed (according to the dp keyword tracker), even though when I run 'site:shop-to-buy.net' on google, it shows 400 indexed pages.

Before the update, the site had a weight above 2000, so if I assume 2000 * 1/6, it should have around 330 now, but it only has 15.

What could be the problem? I though it might be the api not updated fast enough, but then again, why did I get 2k weight before?

I've tried different api keys and I've revalidated a million times. It's still at 15.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards,

    Ronny

PS: Sorry, wrong subforum, could somebody move it please? Thanks!

Same with me. I'm confused with the weight changes. What else has changed? Hard to figure out what has happened.

Yes, I read the thread about weight changes. It says around 6x.

I noticed that all 10 of my coop sites do not all have uniform drops in weight. Some are very low.

Scale currently used is logarithmic, not linear. This may or may not explain the results you are seeing. Shape of logarithmic curve depends on whether base is between zero and one or greater than one. Feel sure algorithm is using a log function with base greater than one.

No, I haven't figured it out. All my other sites are normal at about 1/6 of the weight they had before. I've had another site with a weight of 2k which is now at about 250. I think that's ok with the new weight formular.

But I still think a drop from 2k weight to 15 is not ok, and can't be explained just by the new weight formular, can it?

Sorry NiB, there were a lot of questions after the change and I did just skim through your post.

The only suggestion I have is the API is on it's own 'datacenter' compared to the one of many you may be querying through your site: search.
