Hi, I've had ads running now for 24 hours and they're displaying fine on my site. However when I check my stats for each ad I've created there seem to be no results at all. I understand that once ads are live on a site and an ad has been created, that ad will then automatically be distributed amongst other sites depending on your weight. Is this correct? One slightly confusing thing is the 'enable/disable' ad option. I understand that initially a new ad is disabled, and you can enable it by clicking the red text "Enable". Similarly a live ad can be disabled by clicking the blue link text "Disable". My ads currently show the blue "Disable" text, meaning that they are currently enabled. Is this right? Any help understanding stats would be appreciated, especially what to do about the 0 stats and how I can start getting my site featured on other sites. Thanks, Jeremy
Yes they are currently enabled. It takes around 72 hours for your ads to begin to appear and then 2 more days for the sats to report. So at a minimum you won't see more than a 0 in your stats for 4-5 days
I don't know... I'm still not seeing anything in the stats except for one out of 4 ads and only for two days, March 31 and April1. Nothing for 3 out of 4 sites, nothing for any other dates, and I have checked and double-checked the installation. All validates. Now over 40,000 weight. Ads appearing on both sites. Are other people actually SEEING stats?
I am , I have a weight of 54,000 and getting 500+ impressions a day on 7-8 ads. . Give it time. It takes a few days to start seeing stats.
I'm seeing them level off for individual ads with around 12,000 and more but my ads that have around 1,200 each in weight are still very inconsistent. Shawn - Has the code become "required" yet. In other words is it to the point where the old code won't validate anymore? Im reserving judgement on the accuracy of the stats until 2 days after this happens.
Is that 500+ impressions per ad? 500 doesn't even seem that high, especially if the click thru rate is like 1% (which is a good %). Or do you care more on the fact your getting more backlinks?
Whether 500+ impressions is high or low with 7 or 8 ads depends on the weight assigned to each ad, as well as the overall weight of the account.
500 per ad for 8 ads is nice, 4000 impressions per day for that. So I was wondering was it 500 for all 8 or for each on average.
I never used banner add's but it probabaly gives better statistics from my apache server no? How many guys here use banner adds on the site i fond them very annoying
