I have a feeling we aren't going to be seeing anything from her for this (I could be wrong, but I don't think she has a digital camera handy).

Reverse psychology doesn't work with her:cool:

I had planned to fly over the new house and take aerial shots etc and add them. The weather turned and it looks like its working all weekend. Nobody wants a picture of that.

I can't believe its raining all weekend. Its so out of the ordinary
I hear Seattle is nice and sunny all the time

Sweet. Yeah, the Rinker is nice, though it would be nice to have something a bit faster at times. That and a bathroom :) A 12 ounce beer can does not hold much more than 12 ounces.

Yeah, RATT was wild at one time, they were pretty good last week, but I would say out of all the "has been" 80's bands I saw last week, Quiet Riot stole the show. They blew me away, and these guys are older than all the bands they were playing with by at least 10 years.

Country Thunder (I think that is what they call it) is in the area again. So all the freaky country music folks are flooding our little town. It is an intertesting mix to see all the rich yuppies from Illinois and shirtless cowboy hat and boot wearing country folks (some of the chics too - scary).

I should really stay inside today.

I'll be gardening this weekend as it's rained for nearly 2 weeks straight here and the weeds have gone rampant. Maybe I'll get lucky and see a cucumber in the shape of the Virgin Mary or something ... then I'll just post the link to the eBay auction instead of the pic :)

Of course the skydiving was a good idea too ... think I'll take my wife's cats. Here kitty, kitty ....

Weekend in the life of me....

Saturday - Wake up and do some work online (my forums). more than likely go out with my best friend Lauren into town, have something to eat there....look around the shops. I rarely go out in the evening, best nights for that are monday/wednesday (student night).

Sunday - Relaxing day, sunday lunch, work again! Watch tv and laze around.....

Here's a fun weekend activity - I did a lemonade stand with my kids. I'll wander over to the gallery and post a few pictures there - here's one for now.

You brought a tear to my eye shoemoney with that comment - thanx for making me feel good - I do try to be a good dad.

chachi: If you read down to the end of the story, we made $9 after expenses after being outside about 4 hours ... but it was a ton of fun, so who cares. It's actually going to cost me (a lot more than that), because I've stumbled across Alex's Lemonade Stand (no relation) which discusses an annual fundraiser for cancer research that is next week ... so the kids agreed to donate the $9 to that and I'll be adding a much larger amount to that.

voltaire: Thanx for the compliment on the pics. "dull" is good sometimes ... as a matter of fact, I had a bat in my kitchen sink this morning - good thing my wife is outa town! ;-)

Wow...great pics of the bat wars Alek! :D

I got to experience that one time while living in the woods (that and also other lovely creatures). At the time I did NOT have my contacts or glasses around so I couldn't figure out what the huge black thing crawling/wriggling across my floor was. Yikes! The funniest part was that my two dogs had no idea what to do. They were definitely excited, but also a bit scared. They were literally dancing around the room like ballerinas. I was able to scoop the ugly little dude up with an empty tennis ball tube.

Let me tell ya though...bat adventures are nothing compared to when your landlord decides to put out termite poison, and instead manages to piss off a huge nest of oriental roaches causing them to flee right into your living room/bedroom/kitchen for safety.

I was alone, it was night time, and yes....it did cause nightmares for many months afterwards. :(
