I have a weebly and also a wordpress blog which I wrote a couple of articles with backlinks to them, they got indexed by Google and now a month later they have dropped out of Google's index. Both have unique content - the weebly is 2 pages; the blog is currently only 5 pages; each page has 400+ words. Is the reason that Google has dropped them just because web2.0 sites need LOTS of backlinks to remain indexed? Is it likely that if I keep on firing more links at them then they will get reindexed?
If it has been a month since you provided new content through them, then I would suggest starting there and getting a few backlinks to each new piece of content.
Many thanks mhovingh - is it providing constant new content that keeps a site indexed or is it the backlinks? With standard (non weebly) websites that I create for customers, the content often doesn't change for months but the sites stay indexed with very few links.
