Understand it new BUT get posting and you might want to remove some of the cats.. and re introduce them later once it kicks in .One thing posters do not like doing is posting the first post

Might want to set yourself up under severl different names and post to yourself so that the forum looks active ;)

Its hard , and can take up alot of time building and maintaning a forum but if you love your topic its great !!

    Post , post , post

Agreed ... too many categories without enough posts can make the forum appear stale

I thought this looked familiar as I believe its been commented on before. FF is absolutely correct when he/she says posters like a busy forum. I have gone down several roads to achieve this with my own and it has proved true.

People like to think that their question will be answered within that day so if they see lots of empties or 6 members, many times they don't bother posting. Whether you achieve this through multiple names yourself, heavy adwords campaign, or paying someone to post - it has to be done.

A forum is a VERY difficult thing to get off the ground. Especially if it isnt attached to an already successful site (like digitalpoint :D )

Nice site, just need to fix the colors a little. They just seemed to light to my eyes.
