Let me tell you a story. So I needed shared hosting for one of my naruto streaming sites, and I thought the prices on their site was fair so I bought a package. I was on their offshore server, I had a deal with owner to post on his forum, and he would allow me rapidleech. I posted 100 posts on his forum, I never got poop, and my account was almost closed. So I stuck with them, they had down time about once a day for 1-4 hours. Every time I contacted them about downtime, they would say, " No it's not. " Well of course it's not, not when you answer the freaking support ticket 2 days later. They say they have 24/7 support, and live chat 24/7. But it takes them days to answer tickets, and live chat is NEVER on. Once when it was, only SALES was available, support was not. I was about to leave WebThosting, until their freaking server was hacked, and they wouldn't even give me backup. It took them about a week to even send me an email on what the F happened. Seriously, I had to spam their inboxes to get a reply... They didn't even give me a backup, they told me to open a support ticket. So I did so, listing my domain and account name. It took them 1 whole month, to reply, and to give me a backup. Then when I got a backup, the backup didn't include the MySQL database, WHAT THE F!?!?!!??! I got really pissed once and used curse words in my emails to them... they said I am lucky I didn't get my account disabled, and they could've reported me to authorities. YOU'RE FREAKING RUNNING ILLEGAL HOSTING!!! It's not a really registered company, he is from India ( no offence to Indians ) what in gods name could he do to me!? These guys are a freaking joke, don't go with them. Let me give you more info on my support, the dates that is. I opened the support ticket on 22/06/2009 22:37 I finally got the backups without mysql databases on 14/07/2009 09:08 .... WHAT THE F!?! People, just go with HostGator, or run your own cPanel..
I've been hearing many horror stories all over about webthosting. Sorry you had to experience it too.

LOL!!! What did you get like a new username in the forum and bump your threads and defend yourself!? LOL... GO AHEAD ASK ALL MY VPS CLIENTS ABOUT MY SUPPORT. I DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM! I RESPONSE INSTANTLY AND THEY CAN TALK TO ME LIVE!? All my clients need to do is IM me, they never need to open a ticket cause I am always here for them... WHAT ABOUT WEBTHOSTING? Taking 1 month for a support ticket? GL nub get out my face and this forum you don't deserve to be here... NEVER COMPARE 4gi.net to webthosting, my company is way better...
I have also same experience with webthosting at last I refund my money through 2checkout.Dont try them. they are just waisting ur time and money.
that's horrible and to the fact you are not on a free web hosting you're a paying customer... they should be aware or should i say web hosting companies should also be aware of their client tickets and problems.
