    Hi guys,

Firstly, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year =)

I have a website which has different languages in it.
The structure for each language is:

    domainname.com/en
    domainname.com/zh

For the SEO, which one is better? Subfolder or Subdomain?

    Please advise.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    R

There is many sites that use subdomains for alternative language. From an SEO PoV it won't make much difference, depending on how you link your sites together.

Why you are using so many website to serve the same contents. Just add Google Translation to select a language and google translator will automatically convert your content into that language automatically.

Definitely a subfolder for each language is the most used.
About SEO, I think there is no difference. But referring to the structure of the site is easier and more organized in this way.
