I am currently getting started with hubpages, I have several decent hubs up and am trying to write 5-10 per day for the rest of this summer. Now this is NOT a thread on whether hubpages is good for you or not, or if it is a scam or not because it isn't a scam and it no it isn't for everyone. But I got thinking. I have a website that I work on a bit everyday just to add content, however other than adding content I don't have much more to do with it and I Don't want to start a blog because honestly it takes a while to get traffic going especially when I don't want to write about the same thing over and over again. So I checked out hubpages and realized I could write about ANYTHING and get views. A reason I think hubpages is so good is because you CAN write about anything you want and overtime as you accumulate more hubs even if some of them don't generate more than a few dollars a month or maybe nothing at all they will all add up to at least a little profit. So maybe this is a pointless thread but my thoughts currently are. Hubpages are free and easy to use You can write about whatever you are feeling like when the time hits you You can get your websites link out if it is related to the hub And while it is NOT a get rich quick scheme, you can earn $100+ a month if you push yourself to write just 1-2 hubs a day after a few months. Like I said I could be wrong, but personally I am starting to think hubpages is a very good resource to use.
I have written just a few hubs on hubpages and I have gotten pretty good results. What I like is the income goes right into my account so I don't have to reach any minimum payout.
yes squidoo is good too, however the fact that you can't track your earnings on squidoo and can only check these + be paid every two months is a turn off for me. However I read that in an article and that could have been wrong. on the up side I read that you don't need a personal adsense account for squidoo so that could be great for some people who have been banned.
