I want to use lots of images and videos from different websites, I have read terms of use on each website but still not clear. I will be using these images and videos on my website and source of income for website will be by Adsense. Here are my questions. 1. Can I use videos from You Tube, Google and other similar websites by placing there embed code. 2. Can I download videos from the above websites and upload on my server and use it. 3. What are the different websites from where I can get royalty free images that wont have copyright issue? 4. Can I use images from Flickr and Photobucket? Thanks for your suggestions and feedback.
You can embed things from youtube but you generally can't just rip off the content, upload it to a new player and put it on your site. If the video creator allows this your fine, but you would have to contact them first. You can use photos from flickr and photobucket only if they are licensed under creative commons, you can find details about the copyright with the image.
