I am on a VPS . how can I find out which websites are sharing resources with me ? .. without askin my host...
It doesnt show other sites that are sharing resources with me. it only says : * Dedicated Hosting: mysite.com is hosted on dedicated server.
I did . i've been a member there for a while. I just cant find the tool which allows me to see all the websites that are sharing resources with me.
Type in http://whois.domaintools.com/ followed by domain name, eg http://whois.domaintools.com/mywebsite.com Look for the Reverse IP part. That tells you the number of websites hosted on that server. If you click on the number, you will see the actual website names.
Ok i did that. but it only shows the websites I am hosting on my VPS. my own domains.. about 5 of them. Am talking about finding out other clients that are sharing physical hardware with me. is there a way ? am sure there is.. my host dont wanna tell me.. . I want to know what kind of sites are sharing cpu processes with me as my site gets slow sometimes..
Nah..theres no easy way...cause you have been assigned a dedicated part of the server along with IPs. So, clients on the physical server appear to be as neighbours, not family members!
