I am building a website for a subject in which I will only provide links to other websites.

Is it ok to apply for google adsense?

Are you talking about a directory like site? If so that would be ok, however make sure you have some content other than just links to other sites when you apply to adsense, it is getting difficult this days to be approved. So you need to show them a nonspammy-good looking-content rich site to get approved.

 

Website with just links to others sites is complete no-no.
You might get accidently approved but this is against their program policies. You will need lots of content.

 

i guess u r trying for social bookmarking or directory like sites..Most probably it will be diapproved.

Give an example of your website.
Better see yourself if similar sites have AdSense on them then go ahead and apply.

Tons of directory sites use Adsense. I doubt each one of them were approved by mistake.
