Website with VBulletin... NEEDS HELP.

I have a website with VBulletin, I have had the site for 3 plus years, if I switch servers from one company (myhosting) to say godaddy...will I lose everything saved on the site? anyone here really good at working with these types of sites? I would be willing to pay to maybe make mine look better, it used to get 2000 page views a day, now down to 400 a day because i get spammers and tons of people to sign up on it a day...it needs some help, I wish I could pay big bucks and have it with a nice makeover, I can't. my first suggestion would be to upgrade to the latest vBulletin version..
be sure of that, because when you get a new style and decide later to upgrade your forum, it needs to be redone from scratch again.
you can switch server and keep everything, thats no problem.
if you want a simple new style, i can maybe help you out for free.

 

so if i upgrade to the newest version is that going to erase it all? i am very rough with this... i did a search by colors and i kind of like how the site is set up on http://www.nnboards.com/forums/ (WARNING its a non-nude adult site) where i could have it built similar to this (place up top for logo and an add) and stuff going on along both sides. What would it cost for something like this to be made? Maybe even a flash intro page instead of what I have now? Let me know...If i need more than one person let me know.

 

Why let the spammers on then? Just set the forum to manual approval and your problem with spammers will be over.

 

if you upgrade, all is still there, nothing is gone.
and the layout you see, with the sideinfo is a portal addon, there are several portal options that are free.
you must know for alot things solutions are free and not always cost you $$

 

where do i find a "portal addon"... in vbulletin?

I don't think you've been really specific, but from my point of view, you have a vB forum running on which version exactly, you want to upgrade to the latest stable version, and you need someone to install a portal system integrated to your forum?

its hard to say, if you move server, upgrade the forum software, adding a portal and a custom made style (for both portal/forum) its not a job done in a hour or 2, it takes more...
i can help you out with all things for free, but i must say i am very busy guy and can't do all into 1 day (i got 4 kids running around here).
