Website with Flash or Not? Which one you like?

Ok...

its a kinda Survey

I want to know that how many of you like Flashy and full of Flash Websites and how many like simple Graphics (jog, gif etc..) Based sites....

I like:

Without Flash!

 

no flash ftw

ban flash, ban it i say!

nothing worse than a flash based website... poor SEO, can't use the back button, can't save pages etc..

need i go on..

 

using a flash website is the biggest no no in the seo world

 

I don't like sites with flash. They are slow and people will loose interest fast while waiting for it to load on your site.

 

I dont like flash unless its very well done - which is almost never.

 

Depends on a number of things such as the niche of the site, the size of the pages, etc.

If a flash page is done well (e.g. www.2advanced.com ) and is a relativly small size then people won't mind waiting for it to load. But even then people will often close the window, they don't like to wait at all unless it's for something they really want to look at.

If there is a flash page just because the website owner thinks it's cool then it's a bad idea.

I don't really like flash, it makes the site slower.

 

I must be dumb, but i never like 2advanced.com.... dont know why people keep Shouting for it....

there more better then that sites listed at FWA

 

To be honest, I usually dislike flash with a few notable exceptions.

A lot of people just try to turn their website into an art project gone wrong...and it is usually pretty ugly

Just bloating for the sake of bloating. For anyone still on dialup...it is even worse!

 

both? A little bit goes a long ways though. You certainly CAN overdo flash. It is often bulky and annoying when overused. Stick with small effects for menus and maybe simple animations within banners. Stick with HTML/PHP for your main content.

 

I just think it's ace cause it's so big yet the file size (and thus load time) is so small.

 

Flash is not good for SEO first of all
I don't like where flashed is used just becouse flash looks spectaculous i think not evry site must be made with flash (only multimdia niche related)

Both are great
Flash is very nice sometimes and this is improve the website design. but! this is slow down the page so...sometimes it's make you nervous

Websites with Flash are not only bad SEO-wise, but they're also usually annoying to navigate.

I only use Flash to create games or cartoons.

I like both. Flash might be good for gaming sites
