Website Vs Blogs which one earn better?

Hi Friends,
I have come up with one more question.
Which one is best? A web site or a blog?

If you are writing a blog then usually how many blogs you write to get a decent income?

if you are having a web site then how many pages you have in your web site.

Today, I think Blog is the latest trend which earn more batter of your Blog. If you have 5 good Blogs and your traffic is too good then you are earned per month $200 easly. Its depends on simple formula:- i.e. TRAFFIC = CLICKS and click = EARNING.

My thinking is blogger is better to make money online.

 

well if we look deeper we will see that Websites earn much money than blogs , you cannot compare a rich blog with amazon.com for example , its hard...

I would say blogs are easier to earn with , but not earning more than websites.

 

Oh! i don't want to compare with amazon.com. those are gients. I can look to earn money from amazon

 

If you don't have any programming skills, I suggest to start with a blog

 

Blog like wordpress has plugin for SEO. For simple self create html/php site, you need to do those manually

 

obviously Website earn better than blogs.

 

If you want to generate ad sense income then blog is best, but if u want ecommerce business then website is first choice.

I have both blogs and websites and my websites earn much more than my blogs.

My main website is 38 pages and is business themed and rocks Monday - Friday and falls off to only about 50.00 a day on Saturday and Sunday.

My blogs generate a little money here and there but nothing at all even remotely like my websites.

 

I am also on the same way which above people suggested..But if you do think on basis of traffics, both are good. If you have 4-5 sites having 30-40 pages on each with good informative content and also good traffics then you will have sure good income....Apart from this, you can think same like as site over here..But in blogging, you can only get traffics if you update it frequently with quality details. It's all about on traffics, quality posting, good SEO works, good ads placement..

 

I Agree with that .. but websites still has the authority , look at Flixya or digg ,etc all of them are websites and they just doing well

 

It depends on how you promote your website/blog but in the end what matters the most is still your content.

 

i don't understand the differences between website and blog.

I think the key is content and traffic.
