I have re-builded my website and will put up the new website within a few weeks, i will have the same content as i have now.

I´m on the first page on Google for like 6-7 keywords, will Google have to index my site again and will i loose my current position?

I think your site will not fall back if the content and data remain the same Google spiders crawl on the data provided by your website i have done rebuilding the site it does not affect the ranking of your site.. yeah but it may take some time to your site to be indexed by Google..

You should be fine as long as it is same content and links to that page. If you changed keywords it can position.

Just make sure the new pages have the same URL per subject as the old and you'll be fine. If you don't, then make sure the old URL's point to the new one's through a 301 redirect or a direct link.

Again submit your site in search engine and try to add your links in high PR sites.

Yeah, changing title while keywords is on top the is not a good idea. A continues link building will not loose your site on position.

In my opinion you will not loose your ranking unless you made some changes which affects your keywords, and content.

I would suggest you that if you wish to update your site, apply some onsite seo factors to even improve your ranking.

I'm planning to update my website as well and I'm asking myself the same question.
In my case, however, URL's will change as I'm going from a full HTML website to a content management system where defining the URL's is limited.

I'll redirect all old URL's to the new ones by using the MOD_REWRITE command.
Normally PR should flow from the old pages to the new ones.
    Or ... that's what I hope.

Anyway, as soon as the new website gets online, I'll start an offline promotion (press releases) and daily link building.

    Fingers crossed!

    Please feel free to comment.

    Thx
    Kris
