ok i rustled together an adult site and got over 1000 hits a day to it no problem so now i have a few mainstream sites and want to do similar, but cant get my head around how i dont want to spend any money on advertising as my site dont make any money yet but how do you make a site busy when it dont contain women the site i am trying to make busy is www.tldtrading.com cheers
Same thing here. I have a photo site (no adult stuff) that easily got 800 uniques a day without too much effort while my other website has a hard time going beyond 250. I think the reason is, that I offer free wallpapers on the photosite. I guess by offering incentives to people, they will visit you. Haven't figured out how to do this for the other site though. I was one of the first to offer a large selection of widescreen wallpapers. During that time I had a lot of visitors. I don't advertise or make money with my site, otherwise I would say the freebe crowd is usually not what brings you revenue.

adult traffic is easy as there are link farms everywhere i own a couple mysef ie www.pinklinkz.com and www.postyourpartner.com in the adult industry most people are keen to share traffic as long as they get some back in return but in mainstream .. sites want you to buy this and pay that, its rediculous
