How can i maximize the traffic of my site without paying money? i tried free link building but that was just one side. The opposite site does not built your links from 1 week to 1 month. And the process is too lenghty.

You can use various free marketing techniques...Ofcourse it is time consuming but it may work based on your niche...

Some free sites are social networking sites like,
    myspace.com,
digg.com, netscape.com (Submit an interesting story and hope you get to the first page)
    Squidoo.com

Optimize your site so that it ranks well with Search Engines, ofcourse that will take a lot of time.

optimize the site, and then use social bookmarking services and social sites, there are plenty of them, high authorities and with tag power.

As of now, I'm trying social bookmarking techniques. But I'm not sure whether there will be a high ROI or CTR if the visitors will be coming from social bookmarking sites.

Can anyone confirm this ? It sounds silly......Are you saying its harmful if -

    A. You have a low PR site and decide to engage in link X

    B. You have a high PR site and engage in link X with lower site.

    Hi,
The amount you earn from your visitors sets the limit of how much you should pay for more traffic of the same quality. Traffic quality definitely correlates to the price tag, so pay more and you should earn more.

My problem is that the cost of traffic always seems to be a bit more than the return, so 'free' is a tempting price. But your time in chasing this traffic isn't free.

As for link exchanges, think of it this way... The total amount of page rank two sites have does not change just because they exchange links, but the balance shifts towards the lower PR site. This is because the higher PR sites link (vote of confidence to google) is worth more. If your link page has higher PR than the reciprocal link page, you will loose a little PR to the other site.

I am not a SEO, but my observation is whenever google suddenly finds pages with lots of links without much contents, it might consider those pages as spams.

outward links in unique articles or forums discussions are not harmful.

i might not be correct but i have stopped making 'links' pages.
