I use to have keywords in the anchor text.that is ok on websites .but ,on directories,it seems it does not approve my website because of that .i use for the title "Download free windows software-games" on registration in directories.yes, those are keywords, but are in the title of my website,so,it should not be a problem .still, what could be the problem?
If it's the website in your sig the title would be "Download VYP". What you mentioned is definitely a description and not a title, and I would reject that.
title nd description is very usefull to promote ur site, so must create title nd desc include our sites k/w
I would never approve of keyword stuffing in title or description. I don't think any good directories would do that!
All that's proving is that you have stuffed the <title> tag with keywords. It's not the title of the website at all. In fact, the logo that you have clearly states the title of the website as being DownloadVYP. No decent directory would list your title as "Download free windows software-games". It would be like Google changing their <title> tag to "Search Engine". The name of the website doesn't change to Search Engine does it, it would still be Google. The same goes with your website.
There is some difference between title, keywords and description, I think you know that but you have put same keywords in title, keywords and also in description. This is not a proper way to optimize the page.
If I were you, I'd vary the text when you submit. Get the word "download" in the title sometimes, the word "free" sometimes, etc. You don't need to stuff your titles.
The title looks stuffed to me. Why not change: 'free software download-free windows software-free games-video' to: 'Free Windows Games, Software, Video Downloads' or: 'Download Free Windows Games, Software, Videos' John
downloadvyp do you know that you have made your meta description and keywords exactly the same? And you have used the same words in your title but just in a different order.
2+2 or 2+2 no matter which one you are using first still makes 4 Free Windows Games, Software, Video Downloads no matter how much you move words around, won't make it Title. Spammie description instead of title Yes, title No There was at least some reason why he bought that domain for that site and if this is the case, then this is what should go in his title Download VYP
many directories do accept keywords in title (other than the official name) if submitted as a featured listing
I'm sick of these crappy posts made by people trying to get their post count up. Obviously the only thing he read in this thread was the title - and even if it was about what he thought it was about that's bad advise.
