Hi I was wondering if anyone has tried themeing there website in order for google to display higher paying ads, on a general website say add content and source code regarding say student finance if you have younger users, even tho the site has nothing to do with student finance Is this against ToS or anything ? Let me know your thought Cheers Marx
I've been browsing this forum for a while now, to get an idea on how to use Adsense well. I have yet to actually institute an Adsense website, but the consensus seems to be that the best way to make money off of Adsense is to put together a solid page well themed to your audience. Another thing is, if there is no "Student Finance" theme to your website, why do you think that people coming to your website would click on the pay per click student finance ads? Or are you hoping to farm up some pay per impression ads?
The best way to 'theme' your AdSense sites is to stick with a niche category and build solid, original content for it. 'Keyword stuffing' as it is called, will most likely not work so well for you. Like Josh Inno stated, people who do not surf to your site for 'student finance' will not likely click on an ad for that item. You are much better off displaying ads relevent to your sites topic, which will increase the likelihood of a visitor seeing an ad targeted to them, and subsequently clicking on it.
