    Hey everyone,

Thanks for checking the site out.

This site was featured on Mashable.com (#1 tech blog) two days ago and got over 600+ retweets, 100+ facebook shares, and 10+ diggs. It had over 130 comments which shatters the Mashable average.

http://WastedOnApple.com just has a few counters set up that display the amount of money spent on Apple products this year. They are real-time counters that constantly go up without needing to refresh the page.

I am selling because I am in the process of starting a new business.

As far as revenue and page views go, I have not tried to make any money off of it and I didn't have any page view analytics installed so I don't even know how many it is getting. I put 50,000 as an estimate based off the amount I got from past posts on TechCrunch. I just built the site less than a week ago and wasn't planning on it taking off like it did, so I had no time to prepare.

Anyway, my busy schedule is your gain.

PM if you have any questions.

Oh yeah, I think Mashable will keep looking at the site because they asked a question inside the post telling people to leave their comments with how much they think will be spent by the end of the week. It could mean more free publicity.

Anyway, here is the post: http://mashable.com/2010/06/24/wasted-on-apple/

Where is the information for the counters taken from?

The information is taken from data that I collected over a long period of study. I checked past shareholder meeting scripts, press releases, analyst estimations, and current sales for all products released by apple individually (including the iPad).

The site is automatically updated. I have all the numbers (predictions) stored so it takes all of them into account.
The data should be extremely accurate. Of course, not guaranteed, but I have used so many sources that it has to be very close.
The site will automatically set at the end of the year.
The site has been featured on Mashable (which is read by many Apple execs) and it does not seem to be a problem.
I have not tried to generate revenue and I did not have any tracking installed to count visitors, so no word on my end, unfortunately.
