    Hello,

I want like to have a web site for my business. I just don't know what is better, buying a template or having someone design one.

I just need a simple web site maybe 5 to 6 pages with 2 forms for people to fill in.

    which is better ?

    Thanks for your input.

What is better? Someone designing you something unique is always better.

I would go with buying one. You can get a lot more customization and get it the exact way that you want. With buying a template, you will just not get it.

It depends really. Do you have a budget for your business's website?

Find a free template and modify it. Its a great base to work on and you can change a lot of it and make it unique. Just don't spend to much money on a designer until you have weighed all your options.

    exactly.

you shouldn't be spending $300 on a site if your business capital is $1500.

if yours is a tiny business, use a template.

save a little each month and when you have enough cash, go for a custom template...:).

I would encourage you to hire a designer and design it for you.
Coz it will make your site look unique and it will increase sales.

    Hi NK44,

You can get a professional looking website by simply buying a web template for $50-100 then have it customized for $400. I used this service, websitetemplatepros.com. Good luck!
