I use GSA Auto Submit. It can be pretty costly but it's well worth going with the right tool from the start. I actually would never submit my sites directly to search engines. It's far better to put up quality/relevant content on their (even just 3 articles, 300words+ each) and ping/bookmark. That's often enough to ring the dinner bell for the search engine spiders to come & crawl your site. It'll take a few hours to a couple of weeks. Submit into Google News using one of the Google Hot Trends keywords in your title & Google will be all over your site like a rash in no time at all (we're talking under 10 minutes)
