Individual directory delete as it does not fit a specification for a website. And when an updated list is imported it is compared to the user modified list and that entry is deleted again or filtered out. If that makes sence.

Some directories are not so free and require a recip a way to identify or filter those out would be nice.

Thanks for the great software I am a happy purchaser.

Glad to hear that you like the application. Always happy buyers are welcomed to suggest new features.

So you suggest also an option that user mark the directory and the next comparison to be fixed.

That is a good suggestion but I have a better solution. I can implement a report button (one click no additional messages etc). We receive the directory submitted and fix the problem and add the change in the next update. This will be then also for the other users used. What do you think? I was thinking no additional question just an option in the submission process to offer us a feedback on a directory.

Example: You submit and at some point you discover one director is not free but requires linkback. You click the report button and that is all. In the next update (usually at the end of the day) the fixed data will be load in your database.

Actually that is a good idea. What I really meant is say I am submitting my site say of art prints and I stumble across a directory that said general but is actually for University Resources or Gambling Directory. It just does not fit so therefor it is not general therefor I would want to either hide it delete it as I will not use it.

Another great feature is now that you have a decent user base why could you not allow the individual directories to be say voted on or given a vote for being a good directory and for it to display a certain score it would have to have so many votes and seing everybody has thier own unique IP there would be no double voting one vote per IP per directory! PR in a way is a google voting system for linking but if voting were implemented in your software it would be a vote cast by a website submitter user/purchaser(not a trial user) I think you can see the value in this for the end user possibly even yourself if your are trying to create a quality list or lists. Anyone else!

Yes this is a good option you are suggesting. I have already started to implement the new features for version 1.3 and for sure will include most of the remarks here in dp. The rating feature I will add it as soon I setup also a backend mysql/php support for this feature.

I have also worked on some additional features that are not in the actual list published, and will be in the end kind of surprise features.

At this point I have installed, tested and research every submission application existing. I have write down what I liked and what I consider the users of Website Submitter has something to gain.

All these features will be added in the next versions and most of them in 1.3 Until now I can say that no submission software has such an extensive directory database as Website Submitter, and most of the application do not bother to make categories for them.

Free, paid reciprocal is not enouh. As a layer above we provide all the categories possible:

    General free directories
General directories with submit via email
    General directories with required payment
    General directories with required backlink
    General directories with registration
    Major search engines
    Animals
    Audio and visual
    Automotive
    Blogs
    Books
    Business
    Celebrity
    ....
    etc

Thank you again for your feedback. I know that only listen to what you want my product will be the best one in market.

It was Zone Alarm Pro that gave me the message.
I know it isn't a virus because no-one would be stupid enough to make a good program and then put a virus in it (apart from spydoctor :p).
Maybe it's because ZAP is on high security atm...

    Nice software :D

By the way, I selected the program to submit to all the directories that were free and instead of going to the manual submit-browser, the screen flashed for a second and told me it was now all submitted!
Is this a bug? Surely it wouldn't send to 100s of directories in a second!

    Thanks,
    DOm

I will look but Zone Alarm was fur sure a good firewall some years ago, but for sure not a reliable antivirus.

Take a look at the vide demo on who you can submit your website. The application is now better designed so you will observe some difference in the interface layout. We will update the video demo as soon we launch the 1.3 version.
