Website Submitter - new directory submitter software

I just downloaded it and have done a few submissions of one site.

So far it looks great, and I'll be doing a bit more with it over the next few days, and If I have no problems, I will be buying a copy!

 

From my little bit of testing on a couple of lsites, I can tell you that I certainly do like it!

I only have 2 comments/suggestions for improvements.

1 when opening up, on a PC with dual monitors, it places the box in the middle and I cannot move it until selecting/creating a profile - would be much better to at least be able to move it.

2 when doing some submissions I would like an option to save progress before quitting. This is so that next time I open program, I don't need to try and remember what submission options I selected last time, and maybe add an option under the select directories so that I can continue from the same place where I finished last session.

I only have 1 question about the software - what upgrades are included for the price? Is it just the directory lists or does it include any minor enhancements as well?

Ok it does keep track of what has been submited. I will be testing it in the next few days and probably be purchasing a copy.

I can do unlimited profiles?

 

You need "back" and "forward" navigation buttons in your integrated browser.

Also needs a "deselect all" button. If someone is just checking the selection tool and selects a bunch at once, there's no way to deselect them and move on.

 

I agree that back and forward buttons are needed. Another nice feature would be PR of page submited to.

The Back, Forward, Stop and Refresh allready exists in the application browser. I have attached a small screenshot. The PR and the details of the website will come in the 1.2.3 version. This will be realease at the end of this week.

As soon you select a new criteria the previous selected directories are unselected. So basicly you do not have to deselect them. If you still consider it is necesary I can add this option back.

I will gonnna make it easier for dual monitors. I am making the changes today and send you a PM this evening so you can re-download the application.

The progress status is automatic saved. No need to have an additional button. The submitted websites are saved from one session to another.

Directories updates and also bug fixing and new features updates.

Yes you can do a partial submit. Let say you select 1000 directories. You submit today to 200. You can close the application, In a few days you can back open the application with the profile you have created and you will see the status SUBMITTED for the directories you just submitted. You can then continue to submit to as many you want.

Allways you can start and stop with any problem.

Some update information as 12 november 2006:

- 1832 directories (61 new directories)
- updated patterns
- as suggested I added on the submission page details about the directory to which is curently submitted. A screenshot is attached.
- deselect all option as suggested

There are now only 6 days left to purchase Website Submitte at reduced price from the normal price of 37$ to 27$, that means a 25% reduction. Ok reciprocal link filter would be a real nice bonus feature.

Overall fantastic price for a well thought out piece of software.

I want to buy what is the best way for DP members and what type of upgrades does this include and for how long?

 

Under Help, Tips, and Tricks in the Autofill information, there is mention of:

"In the professional version of Website Submitter you have the advanced option to add new patterns for the automatic filling of the name, title, description, etc."

Are we not buying the Professional Version? Where are these options?
