I signed up as an affiliate, Is there any way to track clicks on the banner etc on shareits affiliate panel?

Just want to make sure its functioning ok

I do not know the affiliate admin interface of share it. Probably is possible. I can provide you with a modified version of the affiliate link that includes also a tracking code. We are running also a tracking system and I can offer you weekly or monthly statistics.

Got it, thanks. I just registered again for another PC. I tried using the "second copy promotion", but the Paypal page that I landed on was all in a foreign language - maybe German?

Since it only saves $2 over the DigitalPoint deal, I just did another normal $27 one for that.

I had a chance to check out the the latest. I really like the live PR tool. This is by far one of the nicest piece of software for the buck. Thanks for taking all our suggestions into consideration and implementing many of them. Thanks again!

 

No problem, slowly I am implementing all the requested feature. I remember you requested this feature and I am glad you like it.

The multilanguage feature was also requested and now the application presents the interface in English or German, French, Spanish, Romanian.
We work on the Website Submitter 1.4 version, which will bring a lot of new features mostly gathered from clients requirements. ( The 25% promotion for the members of this forum is still available on this promotion page ).


We have also finished Website Popularity a new application that is not yet posted anywhere on the web ( excepting on forum.seopedia.ro ). The post about Website Popularity is now posted on this thread.

 

I have a suggestion. When I'm working on adding listings, I have a choice of clicked "submitted" or "failed". It seems that if I click "failed", I'll come back around to it again. I want a button that says "forget it" or something so I know I didn't submit to it, but I don't WANT to submit to it.

For example, if it says "this directory is for video game sites only" and my site is about cars, then I don't want to submit. Right now, I just say "submitted" so I don't see that directory again, but that doesn't seem ideal.

Make sense? Thoughts?

Just bought it. Tried yesterday the free version and it is a great tool. Will use it in a video I'm making about building a site and getting traffic to it.

 

Yes I understand the requirement. A flag that says "ignore it" and by next selection not to be used. I think is a doable feature for version 1.4.

I'm confused with the update function. I'm still running 1.3.1, and I see that 1.3.5 is out. I click on Update, and it says there are no new updates. But even on the box on the right sidebar, it has the news about 1.3.5 being released. What gives?

 

The update is working only for the database updates. For updating to the new version of the executable you have to download the installer manually from download link. In version 1.4 the download of the installer will be included in the application so will be no need of downloading separate.

After downloading just install the new application, the profile saved will remain on your computer and can be used also with the version 1.3.5

 

mmariusel: I've written once about the importance of the directories in your database when I bought a copy more than a month ago. FYI, I gave up the submission process after 10 minutes of using it the last time because I found the directories irrelevant.

I upgraded to 1.3.5 today and gave it another go to see if there's improvements. Unfortunately, I gave up again after 10 minutes.

Although I selected general free DIRECTORIES with free links, the program showed me:
a) MSN Search - a search engine
b) BoingBoing - articles
c) Cruel.com - articles
...among others.

So I'd like to stress once again the importance of the quality of directories in your database - that's where I see the real value of the software. Will check back again next month.

 

I kind of agree too. I have also stopped using this software for similar reasons.

The database must be updated daily as the directories are also daily changes. For example I have implemented a REPORT button for reporting the problems with each directory. Since for example directories are changing very fast we try to adapt fast. MSN search for example is found in category "Major Directories and Search Engines". When you select your categories I will go first with General Free category the last and first oriented in the Special category.

Articles directories are a special category. So I suggest you choose a better category and then you will see that the directories are more likely to be what you need. For example MSN submission is not in General free directories, and is normal to be like this and it is in "Major directories and search engines".

A lot depends on the selection you made, on the filters you apply. Allways when you find a directory that is broken you must click on "Report" button (you receive no popup, no delay nothing), and we will receive and fix the directory you reported.

I've tried the sotware and the software looks different from the help video?

Also, it doesn't autofill when the directory pages load.

The video is using an old version. The new version does contains a lot more features then the previous one. The fields are autofill ONLY if you enter real data. If you leave default data no information will be filled. For the fields not-autofilled you can always use also the mouse right-click.

 

The mouse right-click is a sweet feature. I never would have thought of that. All in all, I'm loving this software.
