What software do you use to view? - How many page views your website gets? - How many unique page views your website gets? - Where your traffic is comming from? - The bounce rate. etc etc.
Go to statcounter.com and set up a free account. You will simply set up a little piece of code on your pages. It needs to be on all your pages, so if you have a PHP website you can do this on one file. If it is html, you will have to do it manually. Statcounter is free for a certain log size. If you want to keep a larger log, then you can pay to upgrade. They have real time stats, unique visitor count, visitor paths, keyword activity, recent keywords, came from, recent came from, location of visitor and more. You can click each keyword that was used to find your site and it will take you to the search engine page where your site is ranked for that keyword.. Later. BR
Use Google Analytics. Statcounter is quite decent too, but if you're doing some serious analysis, GA would be the ideal choice.
Thank you very much for all of your replies, along with this information and some other research I have done, I've decided to go with GA
analytics is quite extensive but can be quite complicated for newbies. Awstats is the simplest and idiot-proof stats tool around.
