What are some websites or programs that offer your website's statistics? I use awstats, but are there any other ones?

I use Engineseeker because they allow to track multiple websites and submit you websites to 120 search engines for a 5 dollars a month.

Yeah, google analytics is great, however some people swear by http://www.statcounter.com/
So you might want to try them both before deciding for one.

I like analytics because it's totally integrated with google and allows advanced analysis of your traffic. Also, it can be used with google adwords to additional information about how does your campaign perform.

statcounter is my favorite, and it's live. Google's takes a day for it to update, and I installed the code, and all it says is tracker installed, but I never get stats anymore.

Awstats has a very crude method of counting unique visitors. Every time you visit your website with a new IP, you are counted as a new unique visitor. It does well in rest of the statistics it provides.

So just in case you go for Google Analytics, be prepared to see a great difference between the numbers they report for UV.

Also may be please have the URL of your website? If its a small website, you can use Wordpress as a CMS. Its easy and has a lot of extensions. I use Wordpress as my CMS and there is this plugin called Statpress that shows real-time statistics just like statcounter.

Really? I wonder why that is? ...I have seen there's a plug-in for Firefox that blocks Analytics from capturing stats - perhaps it could be that?

I also get a much higher result from awStats than I do from Google Analytics. In my case I'm pretty sure awStats is counting robots in it's stats when it shouldn't be - it's the only explanation I can find and seems to be a common belief with other webmasters.
