Hey guys. i was checking a few competitors website and i guess i found out mine is really slow even if it is a pentium 4 3,0 with 2gb of ram, and 100mbit connection

    My details:
    1 www.britneyfans.org 76.93 KB 0.59 seconds 0.01 seconds

My site is wordpress...but using wp-cache

    My competitiors:
    2 www.britneyzone.com 56.03 KB 0.29 seconds 0.01 seconds
    (also wordpress) and:

    3 www.breatheheavy.com 69.84 KB 0.33 seconds 0 seconds

Is my website having slow problems? Should i contact godaddy? I mean, i know some of that competitors websites just have 10mb connection and that they are still in wordpress.

Any suggestions to fix this? My host is godday (sucks yeah)

Try with optimizing tables in Your database. As much as I know wordpress use MySQL and You can do optimizing Via PHPMyAdmin.
Also, Your logo file is 96.02 KB (98327 bytes), try to reduce it, or at least make it less height.
My last suggestion is, check your name servers and domain name and see if they are set up in the best way, sometimes, this can cause some minor site slowdown.

Try to figure out which elements of the page are causing the delay - start with any large files or anything that gets imported from elsewhere.

Look in your log stats, that may help identify files which are eating up bandwidth.

from what i know my site always gets 0,5 seconds to open.
That details i gave were just about the html code.
Ive tried from 80kb (that took 0,58seconds) to 40kb that stills need 0,53seconds.

    Maybe the htaccess?

You can use dnstools.com for checking name server related problems.

    Your problem isn't the server:

Just your logo alone is 98327 bytes, plus you have Fastclick.net, Adsense, Kontera, ZangoCash, and a bunch of other stuff being pulled from other sites on each page load.
