website selling idea

Hello everyone, what are your personal experiences selling websites? what platforms were they sold on? what were they about? were they generating any traffic/revenue?

Im asking because i have an idea and could use your insight. I want to register domains, set up a website on wordpress with a (free) responsive, interactive theme, add some basic pages/content, & plugins, and sell it on flippa, website selling platforms, and/or different main sales sections.

what do you guys think? will it work?
do you believe it will be worth my time?

I sell around 4 websites per month and make more money in 2 hours/day than the average person makes all week in a 9-5 job.

I sell my websites to a private list of investors, not available to the general public.

My websites have 90%+ organic traffic and serious revenue.

Your idea is not unique, why would someone buy from you instead of doing the exact same thing at cost?

Don't use Flippa, you will only make them rich... not yourself.

 

its not exactly unique, just an idea. I'm sure its already being done. anyways, they might buy from me because not everyone knows how to do it..

 

Ok, what kind of content are you going to put on the site?

Hand written = takes too much time
Hire a writer = cuts too much into profit
spun content = you're going to get laughed at

I would suggest starting here to test the market before paying to list on Flippa.

Give it a shot, even if they don't sell - you will have learned something.

i have sold 3 sites on flippa .. last site at 12.5k .. only revenue generating sites have worth on flippa.
