Well, your design is very good but need some modifications in that, like The header should be more attractive, try to put flash in header, should include menu, add left pannel and try to make your footer more visible. Also, make your web site as, the optimum load time should be low. The vistors should stay on your site for some moment so, for this designing stetch layouts should go with screen resolution that makes your site visually appealing and professional too.
its clean and simple and its obvious what your message is. However, there is nothing that 'excites' me enough to make me take action. A simple logo like @namratasnv mentioned would liven the place up and create excitement.
