Great, I've finally been a member for a week and now I can post live links. Time to spam! ;)

On a slightly more serious note, I'd love to hear your input in regards to my Paintball blog. It's proved to be quite successful, much better than I originally expected. It is just a Wordpress theme with a custom header and a bunch of original content. What do you guys think?

I like it, but the adsense at the very top is pretty ugly.

Can you please be a little more helpful and specific? Why is it ugly and why should I consider moving it?

My only tip would be to remember that the first thing the reader should see, whether it be text or your logo, should be for branding purposes. Having your logo being the first thing people see is important for readers to come back regularly. It helps them remember your site.

Thanks PoohBear, I've moved my link unit so that it sits just under my banner. I've also removed an ad unit from my side bar, I think it was a waste to have two. Any suggestions for where I could place my third and final link unit? Remember that I also use a banner unit at the bottom of each blog post. I was thinking that I could maybe have a different type of ad for my index, and another type of of ad for each blog post. Mix it around a little. What do you think?
