Hello all, I just barely became a part of this great community and I can see my self spending a lot of time on these forums! I run a website at http://www.buygamecurrency.com and if you have a minute, I was hoping you could take a look and perhaps suggest some things to optimize my site better for search engines. My PR is only 1 at the moment so i'm looking for ways to increase that and my alexa ranking mainly. All comments, suggestions, and critiziations however harsh are appreciated! Thanks for your time!
Here is my review of your site. Theme: your theme looks good, nice looking logo in the top corner. you might want to add some color though. Content: your content is of average quality, it isnt well alligned, you could defently work on the layout Here are some of your site stats: Google Pagerank: 1 Alexa Rank: 6005538 Technorati Rank: 0 Listed in Digg: 1 DMOZ: Not Listed Link Popularity Google Backlinks: 47 Yahoo Inlinks: 6827 Altavista Links: 6950 AllTheWeb Links: 6900 .gov backlinks: 0 .edu backlinks: 0 Pages Indexed Google Indexed: 201 Yahoo Indexed: 123 MSN Indexed: 85 I hope you found this information usefull, if you have any questions then please leave a reply and i will be more then happy to answer them.
Thanks for your reply Giamatti! Can you be more specific on things I could do to improve the content on my site? Any specific suggestions with layouts? Are you talking more about the main page or the in depth pages (such as: http://buygamecurrency.com/wow-gold-us.cfm?server=Aegwynn&faction=Alliance ) Also some background on the site: It's a virtual currency price comparison engine. Gamers involved in the world of MMORPG's often pay real life money for virtual assets. My site compares prices among top suppliers in the industry and provides some graphs about the data. When users click on a price they are directed to the seller and i'll get a small commission.
The site looks pretty decent but it looks like you have it at a fixed pixel width instead a percentage or liquid layout. I could be wrong, but I need to scroll sideways a bit.
Im not impress about the design.. But I think it's nice.. I'd prefer that you should rebuild your website structure.. Your current structure won't benefit your website so that linkjuice will flow evenly throughout your websites.
Nintendo-Daily: I do have it as a fixed pixel width, it's about 875 pixels. Is there a set standard for pixels right now? 1024 x 768? I could resize it or possibly make the content section fluid. mcars12: What exactly is "linkjuice"? How could I tweak the site so that the structure is geared better toward this? Thanks again for your responses!
ya i reviewed ur site. great work. i searched backlinks of your site and it seems to be low as far as google page rank is concerned. try building more backlinks with some good page rank sites. nicely done dude.
