The info in WMT is NOT real-time info. Some pages in WMT only get updated once a week, others more often or less frequently.

If you want to know which URLs are indexed at Google, search for site:yourdomain.com at Google. When I do this I can see 24 results with content... (BTW I would get rid of JEFF- out of all of your <title> elements... No one is going to search for "jeff website designer"... and having it their only dilutes the SEO value of the other keyword phrases in the <title>).

After the last of the 24 results you'll see "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 24 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." Click on the link to show omitted results.

When you click it will show that they know about 114 different URLs on your site. Google sees them as duplicate results because their are all basically the same - empty pages.

Notice there is no snippet for these other 90 URLs. Why? Because there is no <meta name="description"> element and absolutely NO CONTENT on the pages. All they consist of is a single big image... So there is no content that they can even build a snippet from. The entire page is simply one big image:

Pages like this are really worthless from a search perspective. Search engines can't read the text on those images, so they cannot rank those pages for particular keyword phrases. These types of pages are a waste of the search engine's index space. Personally, I'd add a <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> to every one of them. Don't get too bent out of shape if they are not showing up in WMT.

I see the problem. Actually The one which comes after search omitted results I am not worried about them because they are just image and in my robots.txt I have made them as disallow. That links are not even there in my sitemap.

I have included wordpress blog on which I am writing articles on daily basis. I just went in and saw the setting of wordpress blog and in that it was selected not to show it to search engines so I changed it and made it to show it to search engines and than again submitted the sitemap. All of that pages are contents like for example

    http://www.bestwebsitesdesigner.com/web-design/web-analytics-for-your-website/

Now these is whole content so these does not even show up anywhere. So my question is why its not showing in webmaster tool as well as on google when i click search omitted result. I have just few hours before changed that setting so do u think it will take some time for indexing?

Can anyone help in these matter. What should I do next. I am thinking of creating the sitemap of subfolder and in google webmaster tool consider that as 2nd website and submit sitemap for that.

Do you think that will work?

Jeff some of what you're saying makes no sense. For instance if you've disallowed those pages in a robots.txt then they could no have possibly been added to the index yet you say you see them in the SERP. So clearly you made the change to your robots file AFTER the pages were indexed. You'll need to submit a removal request if you don't want those pages indexed.

Now, since you only changed your settings in WordPress to allow indexing 1 day ago, you'll need to wait. The bot won't visit just because you made a change. Did you ping the blog? If you want to get the bots attention ping it.

As far as the links you can see in WMT its only a subset of the links. If you want a true count of links use Yahoo Site Explorer.

As far as your sitemap idea goes, what is the point of that? Do you want a subdomain indexed and a sitemap included? If so do it. If not then there is no point because all of your pages will be getting indexed at some point in the next few months.

SEO is not an overnight process unless you do it right from the start. I've had sites indexed within hours, and I've had pages in top 5 ranking within hours. But I started off doing it right the first time. You didn't and now you'll just have to improve your SEO and wait.
