Are there any websites to post ads or classified ads on to promote ones website that wil create a constant flow of traffic over time without having to return to keep reposting ones ad?
You can only find that in webmaster heaven. If you are a very good webmaster, and never do anything bad like spam or scrape, then you will make it into webmaster heaven once you and your websites have passed. Thanks, Scott P.S. Well if its a good site you can have someone on stumbleupon approve it and then it could get picked up there and thrown around a bunch of places with little effort...
I've gotten major bursts of traffic from stumbleupon before, but they were just that--bursts. They only lasted a few days, or weeks at most. Thanks, Scott
What kind of site was it? I have an arcade site that I have been getting steady traffic from them, not a lot but averages about 200 a day....give or take a couple....
Have you been submitting new pages from your site? Perhaps, your site visitors have been submitting your pages. Having a great website will cause your visitors to spread the word, and bring in more traffic--be it through stubmleupon or something else.
No, I only did the main page and I have thumbs up other peoples sites as well, and I dont know, its just been doin decent there, thats why i suggested it, all depends on the site... I didnt know you could do inner pages?
I think you can do anything with a distinct URL. Of course, you probably don't want to thumbs up too many pages on your site, because you would probably get marked off by some spam filters. Anyway, thanks for the information about stumbleupon.
