Website Promotion List

Hey,

I am launching a new ecommerce website, & I'm wondering if anyone knows of a website promotion checklist. I'm thinking of a list that would list maybe the top 100 promotion methods.

I thought it would be helpful to ensure that I cover all the bases & don't forget anything. :-P

I know of no such list, but it’s a good topic.

This list should include

Onsite stuff like checking the code and making sure its W3C valid.

Offsite stuff like getting links via directory listings, link exchanges, press releases, etc.

 

Great idea. systematic way of doing promotion.

 

I did find this, but it is still not really a comprehensive list.

 

I think asking for a checklist like that is a little like asking Col. Sanders for a list of all relevant herbs and spices. We all think we have our own perfect recipe. Many consider it a secret recipe.

Speaking of food, I enjoyed the photo of the random business guy eating a pita on the page your referenced. Gotta love relevant graphics.

On point, the idea of a comprehensive promotion checklist is a good one. If you could convince enough folks to share their step-by-step systems and then condense that info into one comprehensive piece, you would have an awesome resource.
