Hi. I have both English and Romanian websites. A guy proposed me to pay him 200$. For those money he promised to make my site popular and on the first page of Google.RO for the search "webmaster". Also he promised to give me 150 unique visitors/day. Should I accept ?
It may be worth it, but I would be suspicious. $200 is an extremely low fee for any seo services. Getting first page for any one word search term is tough, but perhaps it is easier on google.ro. I wouldn't pay this guy upfront anyway.
Keep in mind he does not own google, and he cannot make promise like that. The search engine algorithm changes daily. A good SEO/SEM never promises you all these things, because they know things change in search engines. You can do your own research and build higher PR for free. Hope this helps
thats what i said, but the guy has a big portfolio of web design and this kind of promotion campaigns... i guess i can trust him :-?
I would be asking more questions and ask him to see some examples that he has done and the time duration that it has taken him.Why dont you add your sites here Free Ads i dont charge anything. Good luck in your quest.
Couple of things.... 1. "promised", "guaranteed" are suspicious when it comes to SEO. No one can guarantee a certain result. 2. His fee is too low which can mean that he doesn't know business well and may associate with spammy techniques which can hurt your site in long run. 3. Only possible scenario is that your niche is with very low competition. In that case, you can learn SEO bit yourself and dominate your niche. Considering these facts, even if paying upfront is not needed, I won't go for this offer.
Is it possible to pay based on results. If so, just throw him couple of questions and verify that he doesn't use spammy techniques. Then you may get the risk....
