I have a small business and am thinking about setting up a website to be able to take sales orders using credit cards. I currently take credit card orders over the phone and in person at trade shows. I want to create a simple form on the site that will record the basic information I need to fill the order. This will include the product type, customer name, billing address, shipping address, card type, card number, card exparation date, ect.. This is the same basic information that I take over the phone or in person, after which I use a virtual card terminal to process the card. Is this considered a proper and safe (for customer information) way to have orders placed? I do know that the order pages must be from a secure https location. Also, is it secure to have the form results (card numbers and such) sent to me via e-mail or is the information unsecure after leaving the https site? Any tips or pointers will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance. Mitzi
