    Hi!

Im wondering what do you think or know from you own experience is better ?
    Website or Blog ?

I use wordpress for all my sites. Just because it's so easy to manage things, seo friendly urls and pinging feature. not to mention rss feeds ..

So what's better ? Where do you have better CTR, income, and so on...

I think websites are better in general because with the ways blogs are organized, it's harder to find information. The content is timeless, since blog information seem to drift to the bottom.

But, for webmasters, blogs are way better, especially Wordpress because of the automatic pinging, plugins, and ease of setup. You could easily earn $1 a day with most blogs if you play your cards right. If you take 1-2 days to set the layout up, set up articles and promote, you'll get some visitors. I hate promoting, I like working on layouts more.

It comes down to whether you want to add new content on a regular basis or not...

If you a looking for a pro service, use Joomla or Drupal. They are content management systems.

You can incorporate a blog (i think) in the CMS

I prefer hand made sites for most websites, especially those that are mostly build-it-and-leave-it. it's more flexible, easier to manipulate things, tend to get higher CTRs & conversions, etc.

    blogs are nice for:
    frequently updated content
people that don't know how to develop a total site from the ground up in an effecient manner
getting a lot more returning users

sometimes the best option is a website with a blog. :)

I've found this to be true! Mixing pages and posts together is a great way of benefitting from the advantages of both websites and blogs. Win-win situation.

It all comes down to personal preference really.

It takes a bit of experimenting to find the format that works for you. Combining a website with a blog is ideal for me because I don't like the pressure of having to update a blog constantly. I normally create a wealth of pages first to form the sites backbone and then have a blog on top of it to supply additional information. I try to inform people at the start how often I'm going to be updating the blog just to give them an idea of when to return.

Again, this is what works for me. The only way you are going to find out which format is right for you is to experiment with different methods and adapt them to your own needs.
