Hello, I created a website to a client and installed it on his FTP server. Everything was working really fine in the last 10 months when today I opened the admin area and it shows a message: Could not connect to sitepor500.com.br using "criacao-site". Check if MySQL service is running. I talked to my client and he said that he did a new webdesign using the Joomla control panel but nothing more than that. My client has no access to FTP or database. Is it possible, using only Joomla admin panel, to change the password or database username? I wish it is not possible since I do not want my clients accessing the database which can break all the website wince they do not know what they are doing. Thank you.
I dont think its possible to change the database username through the Joomla admin panel. Have you checked the sever to verify that the mySql server is running fine and if the 'criacao-site' is the valid username?
