I have received several comments over the past two months that my site is not easy to maneuver. I spent so much time on the site, I can't see how it is so complicated. It may take someone getting an account, to review, you can register for free so it wouldn't cost anything. In exchange I could help you by writing a press release for your business, (if I'm allowed to make that offer). I'm so discouraged today, I have been working so hard on marketing that I didn't know members were having such a hard time on the site. No one gives any feedback, until they become frustrated and go somewhere else, ugg. Thanks for any help. -- The site is at:http://www.onestopwriteshop.com One Stop Write Shop. I am working on the new user guide still, not sure if This will solve the problem, or if I need to incorporate a video/start guide. I'm going to make it a top priority to get-r-done soon. Thanks, Katina
I think it is a bit cramped when viewing the topic selection, and titles. The tabs at the right, while somewhat original, are not instinctive. When viewing an article, the navigation disappears. Just my two cents.
"I do not like the way the navigation disappeared when I was viewing the article" Thank you for reviewing the site, I appreciate that a lot. When you mention navigation parts, are you talking about the forum or the tabs from the home page (login, writers station, and Members only) tags. Which areas are cramped, like too many forum threads? I thought there were way too many forums listed. I may have the members writing forum completely revamped for ease of readability. If you can let me know which areas being refereed to that would be a big help. Thanks, my email btw is thanks again for the reply.
I know how it feels to not get feedback on your site from your visitors even when somthong is wrong. I personally do allot of writing (fiction and non-fiction) so I know a couple writing sites well and would be willing to give you a detailed analyst on what you need to do to get your site better. PM if interested. Of course the info I am giving you is free of charge...no catch.
You have many things to improvement. - Your logo color and design is not comfortable at look. It used too much dark tone and look too blend. - Your space are not optimum. There are too much space between " The Spring Fling Writing Competition 2008" and the first paragraph. Why don't you just move it a little higher and make people easy awareness more on your "Top 5 Spotlight Authors" - Your navigation is really bad, especially for the right navigation bar. - Your font and stylesheet need some attention. It doesn't look professional.
