Website not showing on one PC but fine on another!

I don't suppose anyone has ever heard of this happening. Basically my customer cannot see his new website on his computer - it keeps showing the old one. However on my Mac at work, my PC and laptop at home it works fine.

The domain is a .net and was transferred a few weeks ago. This problem occurred when the domain first transferred and we thought it might have been the ISP. But now it has happened again a few weeks later and it can't surely be the same reason again.

Does anyone know what this might be? It's annoying because I've worked hard on a website and the customer can't even see the damn thing.

    The address is:

    http://www.xsracing.net/index.php

Can any of you see it?

He's viewing the cached versionof the old site although with PHP this should auto-generate thus refreshing each time its viewed.

Ask him to view the page then hold CTRL and press F5 to force a reload.

If that works (which it should!) he might need to check his cache settings.

Another thing to check (if he's using Internet Explorer/Firefox) is to check "Work offline" is NOT ticked in the "File" menu.

btw, blue background, here's some text I can see:

I can see it and it looks good, ther version I saw was dark blue, red bar running across middle, youtube videos on page, I'm guessing this is the new website you have done.

This may sound so stupid but ask your client to clear his cache and then go to the site.

    Yep, that's the new website.

Thanks for the advice guys, the client cleared his cache but I don't know if it has been done properly - I'll have a check.

Yes this really seems like a cache issues, also, not sure if you do cross browser compatability, but it might not display the exact same on IE7 that it does in FF.

And usually you will have to use a IE hack in order to get it to display correctly.

But in all reality, clearing the cache should work just fine.

you could try flushing your dns cache.

on windows xp do the following:

goto start -> run -> type 'CMD'
in the CMD prompt window enter the following and press enter: ipconfig /flushdns

now try going back to the website and seeing if it loads :)
