Hi, Some of our customers cannot access our website in certain countries, particularly in Denmark. I need people to check if they can access it from their country. It is a new site and is not getting a lot of traffic yet, but we need to make sure that the site is accessible before we start marketing it. link It is a mens health site and please do tell me if you were able to access it successfully or not. Thanks ahead!
So, basically, it's an online pharmacy? My guess would be that your issue isn't that certain countries can't access your site, but something more along the lines of a work/school firewall that is blocking it based on content.
In this case you need to contact your hosting provider. Maybe you're using a blacklisted IP that why other country cannot access your site.
Thank you for your replies. I asked my client to re-ckeck the site from different PCs in Denmark and he asked a couple of people to check. The site was accessible to some and not to others. It is definitely a firewall or internet access issue. I also noted my clients IP address and sent it to the web host, but they did not have that IP in their blocked list of IPs or firewall. The thing is that the client is able to view the site again from the same IP/PC he was using before when it was not accessible.
It may also be the problem with DNS entry. As the site is quite new, some servers may not know where the site is. But this is also the problem of host, in this case nameserver at AZUDO.com. This problem may disappear in couple of days time.
@ keym2k3r, thanks for your help, I did contact the host company, they say that none of their clients is facing the problem we are facing. However, we did find out that they are hosting around 200 websites on the same IP as ours, which could be posing a problem in server accessibility.
From where I sit I have no problems with accessing your place. Get some names of websites that share IP with you site, and give them to your people in Denmark to test. If they cannot reach the other sites as well, it means IP is blacklisted.
