How much money it will cost will depend on what type of web site you would like
and the site of the site. You should go to the Buy Sell or Trade Forum to find out more about this.

You need to spend domain cost (around $7 to $9) and hosting cost (around $10 to $15) for starting a normal website. You can start with normal site or blog (on own domain name).

    DON.

Well it all depends on what you want your site to do.

You will always have a domain cost (around $10/year), and hosting costs (can vairy, I get mine for $80/year and it's pretty decent).

Then you just need to upload a website. It could be wordpress if your just looking to install that and have a blog, or it could be a custom made website you have paid someone to make (e.g. for a business), which will cost much more.

If your new to the whole idea, and just want to play around with it all, i'd suggest you get a sub domain with a free host then when your knowledgeable with the whole concept move to a paid host w/domain.

With domains names and hosting so cheap now and days, it seems like everyone and their cat can have their own website and I believe Habib90 can also. The idea of starting off with a subdomain may sound good but with prices so low on paid hosting w/domain, you will learn a lot more because of the control you have with it. Subdomains limit you to certain things. Paid domains and hosting allow you to do so much more and therefore you can and will learn a lot more. Just my 2 cents.....

Well I have a blog at blogger here it is www.HabibSports.com I bought it for 10bucks. But I'm trying to move that stuff in to another host. Like I don't want blogger to host it.

I will stay with blogger if I can make money off this domain name. I want to know if this domain name can be worth something in 5 years. If it can't be then I want to have a host by myself.

I dont think you'll be able to move your database from blogger to another web hosting, I dont know if we have such options in Blogger, Also the Domain habib is little limited dont know if it will flourish in near future.
