I am looking for a monitoring service that can report pages not loading. I was testing uptime.com (free and paid service) and they seem to do a good job of alerting me if a server is down, but I discovered that it doesn't report a page not showing - only if the server is up. Over the weekend, one of my hosts made a change and enabled phpsuexec without any notice to me. This caused several of my sites to not display any pages. Since the server was up, I didn't receive any alert and the non-loading pages went un-noticed for about for about 48 hours. Does anyone know of a service that actually monitors a page loading rather than just server uptime? This is the third time something like this has happened (server downtime happens much more often that I had thought). I need a service that can handle about 50 sites.
May I kindly advise you to try our free webpage monitoring service. We check for a specific string on your page making sure it returns proper content. You may also use regular expressions. www.serviceuptime.com
I'm not sure anyone willing to read 5 years old thread Anyway, you can try our service IS2Monitor.com which can monitor more then one domain (actually up to 5 pages) for $4.99/month.
